With that aside, I wanted to use one of the more detailed accounts of Good Friday. This would be the day that Jesus was crucified on the cross and died. There isn't a sadder day in the history of the Earth than the day the Son of God died. Palm Sunday was a day of glory as Jesus came through the city gates on a donkey, on Good Friday would be humiliated on a cross. On PS the people would be shouting "Hossana" and glorifying him, on GF they would cry out to have him crucified. In fact, the same disciples who stood loyaly beside him on PS would abandon him on GF. As you read this, try to find out where you are in this picture. Try to imagine the agony and the sorrow that surrounded this day as you watched the very Messiah be crucifed on a cross like he was a common criminal and the sky growing dark as he breathed his last and the temple c
