Using either the film-clip or lyrics from Micheal Jackson's Thriller as inspiration to create some spooktacular stock and rancid resources!
Models as zombies, goorish and grungy textures, spooky splatters and cobweb brushes, creepy scenes and horrifying objects! This contest is open to all resources, be it stock, application resources, textures, tutorials, patterns and anything in-between. So long as it is Thriller inspired, follows the rules and is clearly labeled as a resource!.

This is a free resources contest to encourage people to contribute free resources, so please don't submit anything for which you expect to be paid. If you like being helpful and generous, then this is a contest for you!
Everyone can enter up to 5 deviations, which may include all kinds of resources such as fonts, Photoshop brushes, textures, tutorials, 3D models, stock images, video resources, or anything other type of resources found in
deviantART's response regarding Art4Love.comIt recently came to our attention that a website called Art4Love.com was offering prints for sale, some based off of deviations also found on deviantART.com (and perhaps other works by artists not on deviantART).  Art4Love.com is currently offline, but was up long enough to make some artists very understandably upset, as neither the artists (we are told) nor deviantART ever gave permission for Art4Love.com to sell these prints.  
We've been tracking the exchanges of comments and journals about all possible infringing activity and are ready to provide information from our side that would help legal action that any of the affected artists decide to bring.  We will also fully cooperate with any government agency that may become involved because of consumer complaints against this apparently infringing website and the people running it. We would also happily cooperate with any possible fraud investigations.

Over the years, we've been proud to offer the opportunity to volunteer with deviantART. We believe that our volunteers play a crucial role in helping our community develop and grow in positive ways.  
The Gallery Moderator (previously known as Gallery Director) and Message Network Admin (MN@) teams have become a much loved and appreciated role, with many volunteers proudly detailing their experience in applications to enter into successful careers with companies who all recognise the value of volunteering in such a vibrant and eclectic community. Did you know that some of our now full time Staff were once volunteers? $fourteenthstar, $Moonbeam13, $pachunka, $aunjuli, $y2jenn, $damphyr, `Tachy-on, $dxd and $Ikue all volunteered in various roles -- and we are all very proud of that fact!

- Life is very busy, but that's good :)
What first bought you to deviantart, and what made you stay?
- Wallpapers! I lurked around for a while before finally opening an account. The community are what made me stay -- there's no other like it.
What do you think of the community?
- Like I said before, there's no other like it. You can connect with so many people from all over the world, different types of artists and art appreciators. There's something for everyone.

Birthday Scuzzle 2011: Start here!Hello deviants!
As part of the 11th birthday celebrations, we deviously had created a beautiful celebratory photograph to share with you all. It is stunning, a real epitome of the deviantART world. Unfortunately someone (I'd look in the direction of last month's deviousness award winner) left a window open and an army of naughty mudkips came and stole the photo! We were all devastated (well with the exception of `ScENeYmE who found it hilarious!)
Fortunately, the great $Moonbeam13 called upon her witching powers (the spell involved monkeys, lightning and an extra sprinkle of devious magic) and managed to find the photograph. Sadly, she discovered the naughty mudkips had ripped the photograph apart, leaving it in complete disarray! To stop the mudkips stealing it again, she gave individual pieces to deviants to conceal until we knew it was safe to unveil the complete photo to everyone. However, as busy as $Moonbeam13 is, she has forgotten who holds the hidden pieces (though

Yes, but I have tons of commissions and secret santa's and mucho stuff... Does me applying to be a Mammography-technician count? (the making of breast X-rays of women in risk trying to diagnose early) I'll hear Tuesday if I'm still in the running.
